Look Trapper. I paid $200 for my Dave and Krist photo. I've bought a handful of things from Lance and didn't care to pay a bit of a premium because he sells real autographs. I didn't buy it to make money on it down the road, I bought it because I wanted real autographs. Just because it comes with PSA or JSA sticker doesn't mean it's real. Remember the Scarlett Johansson JSA's that were pulled from ebay that you were telling the guy they were the real deal because they came with JSA authenticity? Those stickers can get you in a lot of trouble sometimes.

Your right on alot of points their Mike and i agree that he should charge what he wants. And im not bashing the guy, i just think his stuff is way outa ball park. And thats based on items i have purchased from the same artists and what sanford lists, and what the majority of prices i see that are asked of that artist. The low side on deals off ebay i def  understand and agree with you all the way. But i dont see what the need was or purpose of writing Your pricerange in caps? Are you trying to say that i dont have the funds to buy overpriced autographs? Because thats far from the case as roger and several others can tell you differently. But thats not here or nor their and statements about my money dont have any merit in this conversation as does the reverse question of me asking you if you have enough money to make pricey purchases. That kind of talk is just kiddy stuff and doesnt belong in this kind of discussion as it quickly turns into name calling, and who has got the bigger stick, etc. So that comment and insinuation about that was out of line again. I dont  know why you like doing this mike. Your a dealer and collector who has vast knowledge about autographs yet you seem to feel that that gives you the right to loom that over other people and talk down to them. As if someone asking a dumn question, or someone asking about something  in general, is putting you out of something. And this has been happening for a while. I mean give me a break, ive seen at least 3 times when steve himself has told you to stop this crap and yet you still pull it. As far as i know, no one has posted threads specifically asking Mike Airing to give his opinion solely. So if your going to make comments that  are belittling and just plain smart a""ed, than why give an opinion. Just like the last time with the ranjan guy, or something like that, for pete sake, you slammed that man for doing nothing, for simply asking a question you didnt like. And ive seen you do that to several others. I at first thought it was due to some feud you had with these people and that you knew them better than me and they had wronged you at some previous time, but that hasnt been the case. So why do it? You may have the knowledge to comment, and you may have valid opinions, but no one cares or wants them when all they get is smart comments. Just like you did above in my statement. Not one time in this thread did i say anything other than this guy charges too much and i would never buy from him, and gave you some info about nugent etc. So where in that, in any possible since, did you get the feeling that you should jump in and make a round about the bush comment about  my pricerange. As thats pretty obvious what you were driving at. Yet if you knew the truth of that, you would probably blush. But thats not the point, the point is, why make that statement. Why attack peoples posts, and yell at them, and act like you know it all. You dont. Youve had the opportunity to spend your time collecting autographs, and congratulations for that, but that doesnt mean you have any right to comment on others posts in a negative way when these commentors have done nothing to you. If you think im just making this up, feel free to reveiwe some of your back comments in previous posts, or ask steve to pull some of these conversations. I dont mind taking some grief and dealing with a little crap, but its just over my limit now. If you dont like my opinions, statements, logic, etc, then move it on down the line and ignore them. I just dont understand this need to attack others posts when your opinion isnt asked for or warranted. But ill leave it at that and move away from this topic. Please do me a favor though mike, dont comment on any of my responses or comments unless you have something meaningful to add without throwing around insinuations or attacks. And ill do you the same favor.

Yeah... you won't piss as many people off here if you disable your caps lock key.

Look Travis, it doesnt matter to me if you paid a million dollars or not. As if you read my conversation you would have clearly read, as i mentioned several times that if you wanted to pay that premium if it meant good authentication, than good for you. But since you posted the link so that we all could view, i looked at the items, and they are very overpriced. Simple as that. If you want to buy them, more power to you, their was no attack towards you, only an observation about the seller.

About the scarlett stuff your referring too. If something has been passed by psa or jsa, then my opinion as a collector is it is more than likely good. you dont have to like that or approve, i dont care. I think the experts who get paid to do that job day in and out, generally have far more knowledge of a celebrities signing habbits than most any collectors and most dealers, etc. Thats not true always but they have a great enough success rate that that is my opinion. So when someone posts something that has already been jsa or psa certed and asks for my opinion, as long as that sticker is valid, than im almost always going to say that i think its fine. Im not gonna be right all the time with them, but they are right the majority of the time, and i still stand behind that opinion regardless of if they were pulled, crapped out, or whatever went on. It doesnt matter to me, they may have made a mistake, and i may have made one by agreeing with them. So what? Does that mean that the fact that this dealer is asking double market value? no it doesnt. So what does my previous opinion on an autograph authenticity topic have to do with this thread? the answer is nothing. Ill continue to give opinions on autographs and continue to side with psa and jsa  when i like and thats the way it is. I will be wrong plenty of times, but i can bet most assuredly that you will be too in many opinions you give.

Travis & Trapper,

I think this is a case of "Email is the most perfect form of MIScommunication"...even though this is technically a discussion. Without the inflection of voice, it's easy to take someone's comments more negatively than if you were on the phone.

You both have become valuable members of this site and I would hate for hard feelings to get in the way of your enjoyment and contributions. Argue all you want--nothing wrong with that. Just keep in mind that you're both on the same side, helping to make collecting better and safer for everyone.

I'm really glad you're both here.

That Cobain signed magazine the original poster asked is good! But nobody believes any Kurt is good so they are a tough sell.
