Good Lord!!! $250?? I remember when it was $100 for Nirvana items. $250 feels like a ripoff to me.
No, but I've used PSA for a long time.
This guy right here. His name is Lance England.

That eBayer has some incredible autographs. I want the Stevie Ray Vaughan signed poster...shame it's out of budget right now.
He also has the strangest Clapton I've ever seen. I don't doubt it, because his inventory looks so solid, but take a look: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CREAM-ERIC-CLAPTON-SIGNED-BLACKIE-FENDER-GU...
A lot. That's the thing, you are not gonna be able to get real autographs of Dave, Krist, and especially Kurt at cheap prices. Just look at the prices that Lance has on his items. He might take off a hundred dollars on some of those items, but they are still gonna be expensive. If you are looking for a good deal, most of the time you are looking for an expensive forgery.
Good gosh, the guy from that link is asking far too much for his items, at least the first couple dozen i looked at. I mean good lord, the prices on the george jones lp, the nugent lp, the david gilmour cd, and every other one i looked at was just rediculous. They may all be authentic but you can do much better than that as far as price goes alastair and still get a great item. I dont know about how dave is on nirvana items, maybe they go for a premium, but an item signed by dave on something non nirvana related, as really not that expensive. I purchased a signed 8 by 10 psa certed dave signature for around 70 bucks and i believe i actually overpayed a liitle for that one. I have seen numerous items from the foo fighters and such signed since i purchased mine, that had just daves signature and were around the 50 buck mark on ebay. They get snatched up quick so you have to search daily for them, but they do pop up. If your going for nirvana your probably going to have to pay top dollar, but that guys items were rediculously overpriced. At least 2 times what their value is.
True you can price something whatever you want, but that doesnt mean you will ever get it. Those items are rediculously priced on any level. Nugent may not sign anymore, i dont know, but i do know that you can buy his autograph all day long for 35 bucks, and on an album all day long for at most 50 bucks and that comes complete with a roger epperson coa on his site. So Nugents auto isnt worth anywhere close to 100 dollars. Gilmour, yeah he doesnt sign much anymore but you can easily pick up a signed gilmour autographed CD for under 200 dollars, an album, i dont know, that might command more. Jones i think your right about his wife, and have told some others about him as well since you first talked of that. But one good thing is i have been able to compare alot of iP examples on him as of late and their are a few stand out things i see in his auto that arent present in his wifes, the more that i look at IP examples. Their is a certain shakiness and sloppiness to them. I purchased a singed trading card a few weeks back for 20 bucks that is definetly authentic, as it came with a pic of him signing that particular card at a festival. And i have seen several items from george since i have been looking to see just how much stuff his wife signs, that are signed albums, that are legit and can all be bough for well under a hundred dollars. Their are quite a few sellers on ebay with Lps priced higher than that but they dont move. If others want to pay his prices if they come with a sound bit of confidence on authenticity than more power to them, but they are at least double what they currently go for. But each to his own on that.
Oh yeah and i should add on Nugent that he was signing great backstage a few months ago, as one of my buddies works backstage at one of the venues nugent was playing and he signed 3 albums for him and took a pic, and signed for everyone else backstage as well, because i had him get me an album in addition to the ones he got. But jeremy did say that their were several guys their with guitars and he was pretty mean to them and wouldnt sign after they asked him. Or maybe hes just not signing for fans outside of the venue.
But anyone looking to purchase the items at that link, if they have time, should definetly research that artist out to find the best deal. Those prices are just crazy. I could asik 600 dollars for my mickey mantle ball. Its not outside of possibility, but thats an extremely high price for just a signed 90s era ball, basically double what its worth. And people just wont pay that ordinarily. Ask what you want but dont be surprised if their are no takers.
