You should be fine with him. I have only bought unsigned items from him so far but he deals in some pretty high-end material, mostly to do with classical music and opera. His better things are not exactly given away in my experience - Callas for example. I'm sure if he did make a mistake he would put it right - he runs a very professional outfit. You can check out his website for added comfort - just Google the company name.
