Hi all

Is this one of the legit or fake batch

Not being funny but anyone including Joe public when writing there signature will always look questionable if writing it repeatedly, you'd always spot small differences, hand gets tired etc or mood varying could also be a factor .

I'd say all Liam Gallagher signatures from banquet records in question are all legit , Liam Gallaghers signature always has differeerd from day one ....

From oasis days to beady eye and through to he's solo stuff

Yours is the version most agree is a fake. The two versions are pretty easy to tell apart. I got 2 good ones from this batch and I have a good one from the Mtv release and they all look quite similar - right down to a deadened marker - Liam presses down with force when he signs apparently. Banquet will never tell you the truth, so the market will decide where eyes and facts cannot.

Most can agree , there is no reason for Liam to being involved in having someone else sign he's signature for him , and to say someone always presses down a certain way on a pen is ridiculous, he could of been in a hurry or anything .

Fact is NOONE apart from Liam knows the truth and as a massive fan I've no reason to doubt him

There is nothing he could benefit from doing such a thing 🙄, he's most probably not responding cause he's probably thinking it's scandalous for some of he's fans to doubt him the way some are..

In closing ,and just for arguments sake

Sign say 40-50 pieces of paper with your signature repeatedly without stopping and you wil most certainly see differing results

As you were

Try selling it, lol

Believe what you want friend. I dont need to doubt my signatures or post them here for others opinions bc I know mine are real.

Speaks volumes, eh?

This is the rattling on of someone trying to convince themself, not others.

Agreed.

Thought this was a Banquet Records rep or someone from Liams' team's extremely poor attempt at damage control but no, I believe you're right on motive here Kai. I've already seen 2 small batches of CD's back up for sale at Banquet but i imagine the "genuine Liam signed" vinyl returns and ensuing restocks will be substantial, that is if Banquet decides to trash it's reputation further. Cheers.

I wasnt even being harsh about it in my initial reply (not intentionally anyway!) but homeboy only wanted to hear that his (clearly questionable AT BEST) Liam sigs are real, apparently.

lol

You were very respectful in your answers. Sad to say I know maybe 1% of what Russ, David, you and others know about Liams' sig and it's history and even I could tell there were 2 separate hands signing those. Glad honest experts are here to help those that can't see the differences, or are unwilling to see the differences.

Thanks, I def. dont consider myself an expert, but man, those two versions of Liams sig. are about as night and day as you can get. No way the same hand signed those. So you have the recognizable, historically accurate version and the clear and shitty imposter!

Sorry, I meant very knowledge. Once Russ and others started pointing out the differences between the 2 styles it was very noticeable, and consistently noticeable. Not the biggest Liam fan (sorry), but I learned more than I cared to about his sig, and even more about banquet. Always helpful info.
