I've been looking at Lucy Hale's autograph for a while now and I noticed something that I can't explain, so I would love to hear some thoughts and opinions from members here.
I know The Friendly Stranger is quite reputable and liked by collectors. However looking at the four photos that they have listed for sale, compared to others they seem to have no resemblance to Lucy's signature.
Here are links to the photos The Friendly Stranger has for sale -
Now here is two of the same photo from Outlaw Hobbies
Two from Brandesautographs
And one from All Star Signatures LLC because it's a nice clear look at Lucy's signature - https://www.ebay.com/itm/LUCY-HALE-SIGNED-AUTOGRAPH-PRETTY-LITTLE-L...
I don't think Lucy changed her signature. And I'm not sure if a rushed autograph could explain the significant difference.
I'm not trying to accuse anyone of selling fakes, I leave those judgements to members here who have the experience to authenticate signatures. Just noticing something odd and wanting some thoughts from people who might have insight and explanations for this.
Thanks in advance to those who reply.
It's not that I'm doubting the authenticity of the ones The Friendly Stranger is selling. It's more as a collector would you want one of those photos in your collection? You know it's legitimate but it doesn't look like Lucy's usual signature.
Depending where they go for the actors it can be a pretty big mess (NYC, LA) as there are docent of dealers go for them. So if it is in very crowded premiere situation and rushed you get these kind of "graphs". Got Jon Bon Jovi earlier this year in a drive by shooting and if you see the signature there is no way you would say it is him. The friendly stranger is a very reputable seller as Markus Brandes is as well
