Authenticity is Everything

I purchased a signed Madonna Billboard magazine page approximately 10 years ago. I’m not sure where I bought it from. I THOUGHT I purchased it from Roger Epperson, but since I have no proof, I’m not sure. I am looking to sell this piece. It has Roger’s LOA. I sent an email to two auctions houses I always use, both declined. I sent a note to Roger to see if he was interested, he said he wasn’t and then went on to tell me the LOA wasn’t his. I have used Roger for over 10 years, mostly everything I buy I send to me to get it authenticated. But I’m really concerned about Roger’s feedback. He said the date of the LOA is not in his records of being done at that time. I compared all of my REAL LOA’s , they all look the same as this one.
I am not looking to accuse anyone. I trust Roger but this seems fishy. If the autograph is bad, I will tear it up. I will not see fake items.

Greg, I agree, the LOA's signature and writing look like Roger's, but the Madonna is an obvious forgery. I can't imagine Roger thinking for a second it's real. Do you have your emails from back then that you can look or sort through in that time period?

Steve, thank you. Again, I’m not blaming Roger, I’ve just wanted some type of opinion from others. I’ll just toss it and take the hit. I will not try to resell fake items.

Yo Gene...Hi...This item is not signed by Madonna..its a autopen signature..which was used a lot by her people around 1989..1990//1991.....and 'YES;' that looks autrhenticated by RE.....all these third party authenticators have authenticated many many fakes on Madonna and still are even now..and getting paid for it....they do not know her signature..just had a glance on ebay and found over $15k worth of Madonnas with LOA'S.....I do not know any of these third party people personally but with Madonna they need to Learn Properly....look ebay 287056113852..Sex book $4700 aytheticated by Roger ( April 2025) FAKE....that is not her handwrting....I have seen many many athenticatred by all these Known parties....ebay # 267334895659...Signed LIKE A VIRGIN Vinyl with 'F*** Y** inscription...like Madonna would do that!!!!!! this piece of fake garbage sold on ebay for like $1100 the buyer gets its authenticated by PSA..and now its on ebay for $12500 !!!!!!! 'That's all'
