Mine was damaged also. And AP makes you jump through hoops to get it replaced or refunded. They told me the damage is expected when ordering paper goods. So I asked if they were expected why wouldn't you package them better than a plastic envelope? They didn't respond to that.
Poppy (two separate shipments) and Orville Peck arrived just fine. This is the first that has had any sort of damage.
Yikes! I wish these companies would invest in top loaders for autograph photos.
I purchased a few of these... all of them were damaged too. :-(
They were sent UPS in a USPS Priority box - a corner of the box was badly crushed in, somehow killing the bottom right corner on all my photos. Magazines were fine - go figure. AP makes you file a claim through UPS (real pain) in order for them to replace. They did ship my replacements today, so I can't complain about customer service. Just hoping the new ones don't get damaged. Lol
Replacements arrived today... the top corners all got bent. I give up. Lol
They were sandwiched in cardboard, in a poly envelope, in a bubble envelope, placed in a box (marked Fragile all over). They certainly attempted to protect them. The problem in my opinion is that the photos are loose between the cardboard and slide around - likely out far enough to get bent. Putting in a bag taped to the cardboard would prevent this from happening. Top load would be better as suggested, but I can't see them investing the money to do so.
Anyway, it is what it is. :-)
