I don't know how this seller can get by with this, but he/she is presenting, in the title of his listing, that this pathetic forgery is JSA certified.  Of course JSA would NEVER certify this item, and there is no sticker and no cert.   This seller should be banned.

it means squat to us, because we know the signatures are pure crap.  but unfortunately, some poor schmuck who actually blindly buys into this LOA nonsense could fall victim.  The one positive, if there is one, is that even if these WERE authentic, they are way overpriced.

Absolutely correct, Terrier, no one will buy it at that price.   Actually, if those sigs were authentic, I could see them selling at that price, but, they are not authentic.

I don't know, Chris, I had a beautiful 8X10 Maris and Mantle that I had to sell during the divorce, and I got I think, $1500 for it. I have seen the same photo go today for maybe 2,000 to 2500, and its heads and shoulders above this shot.  I am trying to figure out if it p***** me off more when someone is selling an obvious forgery BELOW market price, or ABOVE market price like this one!

PSA/DNA discontinued the auction house LOA around 3/2009ish.  The above is an auction house loa.

However, I thought the listing said a JSA LOA (still does for that matter).

And, if we are talking about the same Vintage Authentics aka steve Jensen Minnesota sports memorabilia dealer who was arrested in Aug 2011 on the floor of the National Sports Collector Convention in Chicago;

According to the Complaint, between July 2007 and July 2011, Jensen and Vintage Authentics auctioned off jerseys that were purportedly worn by Alex Rodriguez, Mark McGwire, and Albert Pujols.  However, postal inspectors claimed Jensen knew the jerseys he sold were not genuine . Furthermore, after customers independently determined that the jerseys were fake, returned them and requested refunds, authorities say Jensen re-auctioned the same jerseys, again misrepresenting that the items were genuine and authentic sports memorabilia.

Then - aside from non-authentic to begin with this would be a reason why they didn't want to depict the alledged "COA" to start with.  Incidently, it also says double matted & framed but I don't get that feel from what is pictured.

that is the problem with these "general auction house LOA's".  you can tie it to any piece of crap and thus fool the unsuspecting, uneducated.

and just like that - presto, changeo, alakazam,

the Vintage Auction alleged PSA/DNA Auction House LOA disappeared from the listing!

Opps....

Item 230828927268 is no longer available.   Even EBAY appears to have had enough on this one.  smconstore still has 176 pages of other items so hopefully buyers will figure this one out.   Opps, I meant smcomstore

That was definitelty inevitable.
