Wondering your thoughts on these recently acquired Mantle 16x20s.  The second pic is attached.  I feel good about the the first, not sure about the second.

jeeez i want this

The attached photo with all the inscriptions doesn't look good to me. That first one is Awesome!

Bad news guys, not sure why, waiting for my letter, but PSA denied this autograph today, the first picture.  I didn't try the second picture.  Any ideas why?

Wow...PSA is into some shady crap right now.I found out over the weekend that they are denying Yasiel Puig items. The only way they are being passed is if it has a Puig Holo where apparently that is a Back end deal between Puig and PSA.. That Mantle however had everything there.

I bet they pass them for their big EBAY customers. No chance PSA wants to lose those big accounts to JSA or GA where these dealers know their stuff will be passed.

There is no honor among thieves. It's a giant free for all vying for the opportunity to put stickers on junk to trick the unsuspecting sucker.

I believe you may be right Tony. PSA/DNA has passed a Babe Ruth forgery in LOT 2 of Coach's Corner current auction. Amazing.

The inscribed photo is garbage. My initial reaction on the black/white 16x20 was that it is bad and I will stick with my gut. I would not want that piece, I have seen that first M, and that "n" from a good forger before...

Here is a 100% fake that reminded me of the above black/white 16x20 that is not authentic IMHO:

In my opinion, the black and white 16 x 20 is the work of a known forger from Long Island. This is not a new forgery style. The slightly "square-ish" appearance and ruler straight baseline on "Mantle" are some of his traits.
