I have been looking to add a Mantle baseball to my collection for a while now.  I know UDA is a very trusted source, but holograms and COA's can be faked.  I was hoping someone on here with Mantle autograph knowledge could offer their opinion on this one for me.

Authentic.

Very nice

Not sure what the comment about the cut is about

Cut is an inside Joke...For a while Mike Kam was getting autographs and cutting them out of the over all piece to make other displays or trolling us one of the other.

Thanks for the help

Authentic and beautiful looking as you probably know.  However, I would definitely recommend that you become familiar with Mantle's signature; you could get a signed Mantle ball that is just as nice as the one you posted for a whole lot less.

UDA balls are way overpriced, and the signatures are not even that attractive. there are better examples of Mantle signed balls out there, for a lot less money.

this UDA ball appears to have little if any toning which is very rare for these balls.

I have one in my collection. It's easy to store in the bag and box, It still doesn't stop these lot of balls from extreme toning and spotting. I think this one is a BEAUTY. I'd prefer a beginner to pay 150.00 more for this ball than to go cheap and be stuck with a forgery for 280-350.00 which happens EVERY day on Ebay.

Fuddjcal, that was my thought as well. From the pics it looks almost new, many UDA balls are toned(which is fine of it is even) or spotted. I don't mind paying a little extra for a good example with good authentication to boot. I'll see where the price goes and go from there, I'm not hard pressed to have THIS ball.
I have a price limit in mind, I'll see where things go with the auction. I do like the piece of mind that comes with UDA and I love that it is spot free and has zero little toning
