MANTLE, WILLIAMS PHOTO

Some of my best memories as a kid were spending time at card shows with my Grandfather. He got me started in collecting I started with cards and made my way to collecting autographs! Around my 11 or 12 birthday he gave me a Mantle, Williams signed photo and wow I was in heaven it was like my holy grail!! As I got older and more into the hobby I realised not all autographs were signed by who they said they were and things got complicated. The more I stared at my signed photo I started to question the authenticity its been something that has always bothered me. No matter what it will stay on my wall with pride as a memory of great times with my Grandfather! I have struggled with it for awhile but I do want to know if its fake it wouldnt change what it means to me. So posted is a picture of my photo what do you think? I already have my feelings about the photo. Scam artist dont realise how fake autographs can really effect someones life for some of us a autograph isnt just a scribble on a peice of paper its memories of people we have loved and time we cant get back.

here are 2 authentic examples to compare to...its really hard to tell...maybe if you look at these and compare them to yours it may be easier

Thanks Cee Gee! Great examples! It is hard to tell the Mantle auto in my photo has always bothered me looks off to me for some reason

Is the Williams on top of the Mantle or vice versa?

That was always my question? It looks like the Williams is on top I always assumed Williams may have forgot how long his name was and went a little too far lol

Im a Williamson I ran off the Name line in Middle School lol I know how it goes Ted! The over lap is a big reason I question the authenticity. If Ted would have angled his auto just a lil we wouldnt have this problem lol!
