Nathan,

The autograph on yours is an exact copy of this one signed in Austria in 2003:

The discussion link is here, but it's short: https://live.autographmagazine.com/photo/mariah-carey-album-page-fr...

Hi Steve is this a good thing or a bad thing as you no what we went through at Christmas with the fake one

I hate to say it but yours is a copy of the autograph I posted. Well, at least one of them isn't real, and the other has been in

You PMed me about it earlier here and I replied.

I Steve I think I have on you the wrong one the one I want authenticating is this one

Nathan,

Compare the autograph on yours to the autograph in the autograph book page I posted.

They look the same.i. useless at this

Apparently aftal authenticated he's called tjs autograph and swears by it that it's not fake and that I could send it back for a refund it comes Saturday

Nathan,

Here's a comparison:

Yikes.

I resized the autograph page and overlayed it on the signature on the photo. They're sort of close:

Here they are offset a little:

Nathan,

The dealer may not know. He may have bought it from someone he trusted. That's VERY possible. But he'll know who HE got it from, and things can be traced back that way.

Replication technology is getting better all the time and the forgery industry is way ahead of us.
