It is a shame, I remember reading Paul used to like going into his little town near his home and one or two guys would just stalk him and bother him to sign all the time. Its a wonder he hasnt become more like Ringo. 

You can't blame celebrities that get tired of this, but the easiest solution is to make their autograph available! If Paul sold his autograph on his website, making it available for fans at a reasonable price, there would be no inflated market for his signature. Give the money to charity. Win win.

agreed ; - but I doubt that I look like a bounty hunter or pro when I waited for him to sign something .   Many of us fan who had waited for hours came away empty handed because we weren't pro active enough

And the true fans gets screwed again because of Ebay.  I cant tell you how many times I heard the word Ebay when a celeb refuses to sign.  I guess Paul is done for good now except at in store signings.
