A shipping label?

These are bookplates. Orders are being delivered. Good news looks like they're not stuck to the page.

bookplates? why wouldn't they specify that when we ordered? such bs.

I knew there was a catch...

I have no problem with a signed bookplate. I'm just glad to be getting a Michael J. Fox autograph!

I'm okay with that, I was probably going to cut the autograph anyway and display it with a Back To the Future Delorean.

Same

I am a serious collector and it is fact a bookplate is nowhere near worth what an autograph on the actual item is worth in the long run..NO, I am not a flipper by any means.

That's true. I guess if you were not planning to cut the auto it would be disappointing compared to the actual signed book. I'm curious if these hit eBay what the price will be compared to the actual book being signed.

Well, my prediction is, you will see some of these on ebay(the ones we get that are signed on a bookplate) and they will try to sell them just as high as a signed book or item. And some sucker will fall for it I bet!

Turn it into something nice just like everyone else plans on doing lol. It'll never get displayed inside a book.

No thanks..I never alter graphs in anything regardless of a bookplate or not. The only way I would is if the bookplate was sent unstuck to anything. I am fine as I have several signed books. Some do have bookplates. I do not prefer them but sometimes that's the only way to get a book signed so I am stuck with that.

My main complaint is when you see a cut autograph and they cut off part of the autograph. I see that a lot with trading cards, that drives me nuts. Or you see one that was cut off a handwritten letter and you can see part of the writing they cut it off of. I don't mind so much cutting something if its not rare (like signed books that they made a lot of) and if the page isn't written on otherwise (just a blank page with the signature)... But I can see why people wouldnt want to alter anything signed.
