That's one reason I'm not a huge fan of signed books, you can't display the autograph easily. I have a book signed by Ralph Steadman (Hunter S Thompson's illustrator and more) and he personalized it to me in his crazy writing style and did a cool sketch. It's artwork to me I really want to frame it and hang it on the wall, but if I fold open the book all the way it will damage it and I hate to cut the pages out. So I love it, but then again a sketch on a normal sheet of paper would be a bit better to me, so I can frame it... But I try to display all my collectible stuff so I can enjoy it.

Are there photos of these bookplates?

Everybody collects for different reasons. There is no one best reason. I'm just glad to be getting an authentic autograph. The organization which held the event doesn't know a thing about autographs. They are a worthy organization and was asking $20 for the virtual event and $20 for the book and signature to the first 250 ticket purchasers. I think that's an incredible deal.

Yeah definitely a steal for the price, and nice it helps their organization. I was just about to pay the $229 price plus shipping both ways for his autograph send in from Official Pix when I happened to see this and took a chance not knowing if I'd get a signed book. So I am really thankful I got one. I'll still have to get a signed Delorean model one of these days... hopefully.

Got mine today. Bookplate. Looks pretty good.

Photo, please? :D

Aww man you can't tease us like that... Upload some photos!! Lol. My tracking still hasn't updated at all.

From an autograph group (not mine).

did you apply the sticker or did they?

It's a loose bookplate. They're just tucked inside.

Those look nice, I'll be happy with that if mine ever ships.
