In my opinion it's not genuine and I'd be surprised if I'm wrong.

Here's a close-up of the signature:

FAKE

I'm not an expert, just a collector and I'm not even great with signatures either but that just doesn't look good. It's not even a decent forgery and COA's, if they're not from a trusted company, if they're just a piece of paper like that, the likelihood that it is real really goes down. People with genuine stuff get a good authentication, some people with genuine stuff sometimes just don't get authentication, but if someone wants to pass a forgery off as real to the public then they get a bad COA which is worthless to experienced buyers but lets a novice collector put his or her guard down.

The person selling it now might not know. I don't recognize their name off the bat as a forgery seller on eBay so I looked at their feedback and didn't see any other autographs that he had sold which would tell me that the guy probably doesn't even know it is fake, but who knows.

I wouldn't buy it. Spend some time on this site, look at some of MJ's genuine signatures and maybe start with something certified by PSA or JSA. Make sure you buy something that is something would be my advice, don't rush in and get something that is really nothing :).

Unfortunately, no-good in my opinion Francisco. I agree Greg - patience is a virtue that no one seems to have these days.

Also, I don't understand why so many people seem to gravitate towards these weird style signatures...forgeries in most cases from MJ or any other artist. There are so many out there in a more common style that they would be so much more comfortable buying and would have such an easier time selling in the future. I try to stay away from purchasing any type of autograph that I think I would have to convince or talk someone into believing it is real if I were to sell it. I believe they are paying more attention to the price than the autograph.

I agree, it's not real.
thank you everyone for your opinions i appreciate it. to me the signature looks nice small and neat, but thats the thing that makes me doubt it- especially when comparing it to Michael's actual genuine signatures.

here is another one from Ebay

this one looks more real to me

Sorry, this does not look good to me at all.

You have to be very careful on ebay.

very true. i havent bought anything-

thank you for your opinion

Here's another example of a real one for you to compare others with.

Hope it helps you.

This item (Thriller CD) gets a big thumbs down.
By the way guys, if you had rather make a decision yourself on MJ signatures, a good resource would be to just check out the Jacko sigs in R&Rs monthly auction cataloges. PSA & Roger Epperson do an exceptional job with MJ in particular for them. Also, Juliens has a lot of good exemplars to compare with. I do not believe Juliens are aware of the secretarial versions, but they are seen there only on rare occasion anyway...if I recall correctly.
