Michael Jackson autographed Thriller award display bought at recent Juliens auction.

I purchased this item at a recent Juliens auction in
LA.

I was shocked to read recent articles that a lot of the autographs on items sold in this auction are fakes. I am a first time collector and bought this item for my daughter and I who are both MJ fans and felt that buying a Michael Bush owned MJ collectable from a reputable auction house was a no brainier but apparently not! Very concerned about the authenticity of the autograph on the item I purchased as it is a lot of money for me.

Would very much appreciate it if any experts on this board could review.

Hello

I´m not an expert, but I think this is a genuine MJ autograph.

it is difficult to see the detail of the signature but it certainly isnt the same style of the signatures in question.

Hi. I just took a close up...hope this one is clearer.

Id recommend taking a close up picture of the signature to better authenticate it, altough I do agree it it dosen't seem to be the same style as the bush ones in question.

Im not posative but wasent this part of the Icons & idols auction and not the collection of bush one ? If so how do you know this was owned by Bush I really have no idea how Juliens auctions work just asking since if this wasent from the bush sale it improves the chances that it's good

Hi Steve. Thanks for your response. I did purchase this in the Juliens icons and idols auction held on Dec 2nd. My understanding was that a lot of the items in that auction came from from the Michael Bush estate. I could be mistaken though, I'm not an expert on auctions. I've attached a more clearer picture of the autograph. Hope this helps.

I just answered this in the big MJ discussion. That's definitely a genuine autograph in my opinion. It wasn't in Tompkins & Bush, which had all the off-the-wall signatures.
