This is a Rolling Stone magazine from February 17th 1983.  Obviously, the MJ autograph is not not from the 80s.  Looks like maybe it was signed in the late-1990s/ early-2000s?  It comes with an LOA from Roger Epperson.  So do you think it’s authentic?

I personally don't like it.  Doesn't feel right to me.

+1

I’m beginning to think this might resemble a forgery style that Wascher elaborated on.  Not sure though.

Does anyone else have thoughts on this one?

Fake!

I personally don’t like it. I’ve seen other signed items with a fairly similar style. What I find odd is the very big M, J and N with a very small loop in the L. Another thing I don’t really like (but it’s a pretty small detail) is the top of the J. Usually when the loop of the L crosses the lower portion of the J, the top of the J should lean towards the right, because that’s how naturally the flow would go. Here it leans in both cases towards the left. Again, I could maybe see MJ signing multiple items for a dealer and the signature turns out a little odd, but what I don’t like is the fact that 1) the markers are different colors and usually the one signing keeps the same marker 2) usually dealers use black/green, not red so often

Someone bought it today for $799.

Could be a shill bid. These con artists are thick as thieves. I see the same items “purchased” and then relisted weeks later all the time.
