On December 2, Julien's Auctions is selling The Collection of Tompkins and Bush. The collection contains 465 lots of Michael Jackson memorabilia, 287 of them autographed.
Michael Bush and the late Dennis Tompkins were Michael Jackson's costume designers for 25 years, during Jackson's most successful period. They were the consignors of the signed Thriller jacket that Julien's sold for $1,800,000 in June 2011.
Almost all of the autographs in the Tompkins and Bush sale are a variation I'm not familiar with. I've only been looking at Jackson's autograph for a few years, though, and we have members here who have collected him for decades, so I'd appreciate your input and exemplars.
If you know Michael Jackson's autograph well, please look at a few images below from the auction and let me know what you think. Even better, browse the auction and upload any similar examples you have: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/
Julien's is the world's premier auction house for Michael Jackson memorabilia, so they would know his autograph better than most of us. I'm just surprised I haven't seen this style before.
Thanks for your help.

there must be a way to send this back and get refunded...!!!!
Why don't you try to not accept the delivery and make it sent back to Julien's!
There won't be your signature, you'd have never been delivered, etc...
That's what I would do...!
That is an excellent idea !!
I would not do that without consulting an attorney, Face. It may be OK, but I don't know. It's important that anyone considering suggestions given here on how to get their money back, etc., get solid legal advice from a professional who knows.
Veronica its not too late please email them stating the item is suspected forgery, and you are not willing to purchase it, ask for a refund as Thomas(juliens croctions) did so. see if he is willing to help,
I am very interested to see which questions are asked and to see what Darren has to say. I can't believe he can still think the signatures in the recent auction are from the hand of Michael Jackson.
"anything accusatory will be deleted from the thread?" LOL, what's the point.. this should be being investigated now by law enforcement... I say let THEM put the accusatory questions accross... this has gone WAY past the stage of us conversing with Juliens...we tried that PRIOR to the auction, posted respectful questions, and got ignored and fobbed off.
Too little too late, you can't talk your way out of this one... let the evidence be in the hands of the right people and the appropriate action be taken.
Everyone here has done a great job and should be commended.
Karen Faye's recent tweets only echo how indefensible this all is.
They should do a question and answer with Bush!
MJJCOMMUNITY.COM is doing a question and answer with Bush but again, you wont find any of the questions which need answering about the authenticity of the autographs in the recent auction... My question for Darren Julien is.... why do my 3 Michael Jackson autographs, signed on 3 separate occasions under 3 different circumstances, when Michael was right in front of me, in different years look NOTHING like ANY of the autographs in the recent auction???
all these websites who are doing interviews like that are just scared to lose their connection with Bush and the Estate...
Just like the ones who lick his ass during Bush's book signing events etc...
Face I agree, Hi btw, we met many years ago in California. Thats part of the reason why there is lack of support and hostility towards this in the fan community, as many bent over backwards to support him during the book promotion and exhibitions.
