On December 2, Julien's Auctions is selling The Collection of Tompkins and Bush. The collection contains 465 lots of Michael Jackson memorabilia, 287 of them autographed.

Michael Bush and the late Dennis Tompkins were Michael Jackson's costume designers for 25 years, during Jackson's most successful period. They were the consignors of the signed Thriller jacket that Julien's sold for $1,800,000 in June 2011.

Almost all of the autographs in the Tompkins and Bush sale are a variation I'm not familiar with. I've only been looking at Jackson's autograph for a few years, though, and we have members here who have collected him for decades, so I'd appreciate your input and exemplars.

If you know Michael Jackson's autograph well, please look at a few images below from the auction and let me know what you think. Even better, browse the auction and upload any similar examples you have: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/

Julien's is the world's premier auction house for Michael Jackson memorabilia, so they would know his autograph better than most of us. I'm just surprised I haven't seen this style before.

Thanks for your help.

Thank you for being here, Travis with your support. It's appreciated.

I posted a blog on the NBC report. Why don't we use it now, since this discussion is over 150 pages and stripped of Julien's images?

Here's the link:

I´ll post it here to, just to be sure that all of you "MJ guys and girls" see it...

Hopefully this info is in any way helpful in your attempt to trace down these Bush-forgeries and the ones who bought them...

This item is on sale at Tradera, a swedish part of ebay.:

The seller links to this: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/lot/33826/

The seller can be contacted if you click at "Ställ en fråga till säljaren" to the right in the item description, but you need to be registered at Tradera to do that. You can register if you click at "Bli medlem" at the frontpage.

Maybe someone with good knowledge about this whole situation can contact the seller and help him/her get a refund...

Keep up the good work!!!

This is my favorite part. The person Julien directed the media to states (PSA) is reputable after PSA says the autos are not good.

The I-Team asked Julien to provide us with the names of any experts his auction used to authenticate the autographed items he sold for more than $1.5 million on Dec. 2. Julien told us to contact Laura Woolley, owner of The Collector’s Lab.

But Woolley told the I-Team she’s an appraiser of auction items, not an autograph authenticator. And she said one of the authenticators used by the I-Team, PSA/DNA, is reputable.

"I think they do great work," she said of PSA/DNA.

The truth has prevailed! Just to be accurate, I think the total in autographs was almost $1.5 million, not more than it. I added up about $1,444,000.

Laura Woolley is a well known, reputable appraiser. I've heard good things about her.

Again thank you to you all for the work, thank you to Autograph Magazine Live have ignored all the bad words on TeamMichael to focus only on the truth and the facts. Tachd B I like also  this phrase in the article.

Stating that she has no reason to doubt Michael Bush is not a good thing in my book.

I cant thank everyone enough, if i keep repeateding, Im sorry, THANK YOU EVERYONE, HO HO HO HO,, lols,,

Ok Bush's statement, "why would i ruin my 25yr reputation"

Ermmm all that was said was the autographs were fakes, no on ITeam implicated him,,  Bush spoke like a guilty man,  The video is up, sorry if this is repeat post Transcripts here http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/NBC4-I-Team-Joel-Grover-Inv...

I can think of a couple million reasons he would ruin his 25yr reputation.

What reputation did he have?  I never heard of him until today.  Reputation as someone who makes nice outfits?  This has nothing to do with how well he sows clothes.

Bush too is worried that no one has heard of him .. it really bothers him.. he said himself that if he were to drop down dead people just would not know.. it bothered him one day in London when he passed someone on the street and they were partly dressed like Michael Jackson.. or they were wearing an MJ styled armband.. i forget what he said exactly.. we were drinking when he relayed the story.... but he proclaimed that he is the inventor of that.. and it bothered him that this passer-by would never know.. is it any wonder he scribbled "To Bush" on hundreds of items.

Very telling of his personality Justin. Thanks
