On December 2, Julien's Auctions is selling The Collection of Tompkins and Bush. The collection contains 465 lots of Michael Jackson memorabilia, 287 of them autographed.

Michael Bush and the late Dennis Tompkins were Michael Jackson's costume designers for 25 years, during Jackson's most successful period. They were the consignors of the signed Thriller jacket that Julien's sold for $1,800,000 in June 2011.

Almost all of the autographs in the Tompkins and Bush sale are a variation I'm not familiar with. I've only been looking at Jackson's autograph for a few years, though, and we have members here who have collected him for decades, so I'd appreciate your input and exemplars.

If you know Michael Jackson's autograph well, please look at a few images below from the auction and let me know what you think. Even better, browse the auction and upload any similar examples you have: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/

Julien's is the world's premier auction house for Michael Jackson memorabilia, so they would know his autograph better than most of us. I'm just surprised I haven't seen this style before.

Thanks for your help.

DO YOU ALL REALIZE THAT A TOTAL OF 1,984 LOTS OF MICHAEL JACKSON MEMORABILIA HAVE ALREADY BEEN AUCTIONED (SOLD OFF) AT TEN (10) SEPARATE JULIEN’S AUCTIONS SINCE MICHAEL JACKSON’S MURDER WHICH SOLD FOR:

$10,691,400.20!!!

I did all the calculations early this morning! :-(

How many lots were consigned by Tompkins and/or Bush? After seeing the ones in the T&B auction, every one is now under suspicion to me.

AND, This IS NOT even counting the 465 LOTS OF MJ MEMORABILIA SCHEDULED TO BE AUCTIONED (SOLD OFF) TOMORROW, DECEMBER 2, 2012!!! :-(

All gone.

Destroying everything Michael created; thieving everything he EARNED through a lifetime of disciplined work since the age of 5.

That was the plan.. for long before June 25, 2009

I know this is OFF TOPIC--but since everyone is on this thread---would someone take a look at this "led ZEP" signed guitar with '2" COA's..the page and Plant look BAD to me...any opinions? I never heard of this authenticator either ? anyone know if they have a good rep? is this just another fake ebay item people are fooled by?

David.

The autographs are not even close and are not authentic but better the the Eagles or AC/DC guitars also with the same 2 COA's.

WOW--You are right-that EAGLES guitar is a complete forgery and a very BAD one..not even close either....so another forger....with 2 coa's that are worthless...what a shame EBAY has no real autrograph policy but "buyer beware". Someones going to pay well over 1K tomorrow for a FAKE led Zep guitar.

No good IMO. ......

I just realized the FRAUDS are selling the long black Indian tunic he worn to the 1999 Bollywood Awards, TOO!  >:-(

First on the right in photo:

LOOK AT ALL THESE ICONIC MJ PIECES !!!!!!  I'm so so sad about this. :(

JUST PLUNDER IT ALL YOU FILTHY SCAVENGERS.

Just to update the readers, I was contacted by Randy Jackson's personal assistant regarding the auction.  What I can say is they are very upset and concerned about the authenticity of the items.  I think there will be some serious action going on today at the auction.  Also please keep posted to ABC and NBC news as there are some great stories about to break.  This is going to be a crazy day at Juliens for sure.

it's sad to say but I hope, I hope that family will be there to expose all that.

Roger thanks for the update.

Strange thing is that the family is usually very split on things like this, and Randy is usually the rogue fighter.
Hopefully there is more cohesiveness between them than usual on this.
Also, there is another auction happening in London (smaller but still) of Michael's belongings pillaged from his Los Angeles home he was living in the day he died - and according to Julien's they are consigned by one of his BROTHERS...
