Hello friends,

Just would like to have your opinions about this MJ autograph on Ebay (as attached file). The autograph started selling at $ 0 and now increasing to $255.

I saw a lot of MJ autographs sold by this seller (Krm78). He also has one with REAL certificate but selling at expensive price as below link:

Look forward to hearing your opinions.

I've seen ALOT from this seller (KRM78) in the last year on Ebay that usually sell far below market value. How can he keep obtaining these and selling at such low prices?  Makes you wonder....

Is the one with roger epperson Coa legit or fake coa? All the ones this seller has
previously sold look similar for very cheap !
Is the Paul McCartney Hofner genuine from what this seller sold with roger epperson Coa?
If you type the item number 311085408461 in eBay search it will come up.

Thanks so much for your opinion. I also think that Roger's COA is faked. It is quite easy to do photoshop on his certificate as there is no serial number on it. The item is finally closed at $ 417 won by poor bidder. I will try to report this seller to Ebay and hope can do something to prevent fraud in the market.

Don't count on it. Ebay loves forgeries on their site because it makes them TONS of money. As far as ebay is concerned, the more fake autographs, the better.

Haha, I see. I have also bought 2 faked MJ autographs on Ebay last year. Fortunately, I could make a refund but had to waste a lot of times and money for returned shipping to seller.

I was concerned with this person awhile back and even made contact with him over these.  Here are all of the ones I could dig up.

No bids as of yet.  Wants the starting bids to be at 799.00 with a buy it now of 1299.00

Sold Sept 1 for 471.66

Sold August 22nd for 212.50

Sold August 4th for 420.00

Sold July 30th for 202.50

Not sure when this one sold, I had it saved from previous questionable items in a file I had.

Here's the info I rec'd when I reached out to the seller.

I asked him how he obtained them:

I Have been collecting MJ and Paul McCartney signed items for a long time.I hit a $350k Lottery in 2009 and bought many signed items and all so have obtained some of my autographs in person. This was bought by a person in CA that got it signed in Bel Air in 2007.have a photo of MJ signing items but I do not have the copy rights to it that i was given.
Thanks KRM.

I then asked if he got them from an Erick in CA (altho they are slightly different).   I told him I think he might have gotten scammed on these. (please remember I talked to him before this Roger one came up)   His response:

No did not I am a autograph expert on Autographs sent some to JSA and passed came from a person I deal with named John not a Eric. I do not know the person You say.  The person I deal with is in CA Bel air and New York city .Most autograph experts think they know most but do not. I only deal in music and Rock pop.My McCartney came from me in person and some from a friend I am a top expert on McCartney in the world and my partner in the Mccartney autographs works for JSA on the side he is the top expert on Chuck Berry in the world.

I didn't respond and then got this:

Dear w,

I think I have herd about that peron he had a web site as well backstage colletibles or some thing like that and had some McCartney strats and a Ringo starr as well and some Van Halen stuff and a fake Springsteen. The Springsteen was funny to me as I am good friend with Springseens family members.

What does everyone think?  Personally I already questioned him so I have my doubts on them.

I am sure that this person is a real forger. His forged MJ autographs are quite nice so a lot of bidders were deceived and he can gain a lot of money on Ebay. I also suspect that the one with Roger's certificate is not the real one.

To me, the L in love is atypical three times.  Once I could see, but 3 times?   The last Michael of his (below) looks really off to me too.   Then there is the color change of pens--as if they were done at different times.  How can 3 Loves be atypical to Michaels norm (but nearly identical to each-other).

I don't know where they honestly came from.  I won't accuse him of making them as I have no idea.  But they are odd to me.

And this is what a normal "Love" looks like from Michael, and these are from all different signing era's.  They are all very very similar, but totally different than above.   If you look at the L, the bottom loop in an authentic auto usually always goes way below the entire word Love (unless he is cramped for space).

So the REAL Loa is a counterfit ?

I think the REAL Loa is genuine, but the autographs in question are definitely counterfeit
