Hi. I'm looking to purchase a Mickey Mantle autographed jersey and came across this one. The signature is extremely faded and can be hard to see. I was looking to see if anybody has an opinion as to the authenticity of this as well as how much something like this is worth. The jersey is a 1951 Cooperstown throwback and the seller claims the jersey alone is worth $300. Any info that anybody has is appreciated!

That's a Greg Marino Mantle

Yep.

it is obvious even by the little ink available to evaluate, that this signature is not authentic.

If you could stick the Jersey in the washing machine to get the rest of the stink out, I'd say the jersey is worth 25.00 MAX. The seller is unfortunately a confirmed moron... 1951 Copperstown throw back, LOLOLOLOLOL with faded forgery, double LOLOLOLOLOLOL. Please move on to the next one Jake. Nothing to see here but another uneducated idiot on E-bay with a whopper fish story.

If you have to ask about this one, please buy an upperdeck signed Jersey for your own safety. Step away from the bid button....Nice job posting and saving yourself some hard earned glue. Good LUCK!

Thanks! I'm not a Mantle expert myself...I have an UDA Baseball but that's it. I didn't think the signature looked right but the seller claimed JSA said it was good which I didn't think to be true.
