Hi guys,

I have the opportunity to purchase a bat signed by a number of Hall of Famers. How do the signatures on the bat look to you?

Not authentic.

Mantle is no good in my opinion.  That M looks off and I don't like the "e".

The "g's" in DiMaggio look atypical in my opinion as well.

I don't like the look of any of those signatures, even accounting for the difficulty of signing a bat.

If they are real, they aren't good examples of the signatures--I'd pass for that reason alone.

But it looks like a nice bat! If you can get it for the standard price of a bat, I'd do it. Because that looks like a very nice bat.

Dreadful forgeries.

Ditto.

So I'm going to guess this one is also bad?

If you are wanting an opinion on an autograph, how about posting a picture that shows the autograph halfway clearly? Crazy thought, I know.

Despite not being able to see the damn thing, I can almost guarantee it is fake judging by the ridiculous amount of rare inscriptions, as well as "Charles". If authentic, this would be $3,500+ easily.

Image is not great for judging, but from what I can see, it does not look promising.

First bat the Yaz is terrible etc.

These are not pictures I have taken, Ryan. I will request clearer ones from the seller.

Red Flag #1, anyone who is trying to sell you an autograph and sends you a crap picture like that...

Looks like some Craigslist crap, avoid any site like that. If you know nothing about Mantle's signature stick with something certified by JSA or PSA/DNA and ignore any other 'certificate' that might come with one...
