Hi Shamim,

Unfortunately i dont believe this item is genuine either. The MJ autograph doesnt look like his signature from that time period, and i think i see an attempt at Eddie Van Halen on their, and it is no good. But i feel confident that these are not genuine.

Out of the 7 witch autograph are real?

Hi again Shamim,

Unfortunately i am very confident that they are all bad. In multi signed items like this, typically if one is bad, then they all are bad. And although im not familiar with all those signatures. The Eddie Van Halen (if thats who they were going for) is way off. The Jackson is also way off, and it doesnt resemble his signature from Thriller on up, or really any time that i am familiar with. The 2 signatures in the bottom right in black also look like they were penned by the same person. But i could be wrong their b/c im not familiar with those individuals, and i cant comment on Quincy or the others b/c i have not studied them either. But i highly doubt that any are real.

Sometimes forgers will get a few legit "really easy" signers on a hard piece to complete, and then they will forge the harder members of the group. This throws people off, including myself sometimes. So you always have to watch it for that, but i doubt you would want this item knowing that the 2 most valuable sigs on it are fake. (Van Halen and Jackson).

I hope this helps and sorry for the bad news. But if you want to know for sure, you can pay Roger Epperson to give a quick opinion for 15 bucks.

Carl

I believe this is a definite fake. The MJ is way off.

This album is not genuine. I have to agree with Carl that both the Michael and the Eddie autograph is way off. It is the same with the Quincy Jones autograph. It is way, way off. And if the two autographs on the bottom right are supposed to be the Porcaro brothers, they are also way off.

Sorry!

these were most likely all signed by the same person sitting there with a multi-color pen set that he just bought at the local Staples.  Very bad.

Just the sight of a multi-colored, multi-signed item is enough to make me cringe lately, because it seems like 99% of them are the most awful fakes. Seems like one of the "in" things for forgers to do at the moment.

I think it's their feeble method of blowing smoke - suggesting that these were all signed with a different pen so they must have all been signed by different people.  Like the color will disguise the handwriting.

The Michael Jackson definitely isn't. I didn't check the others.
