To my eye, this doesn’t look like any other example of her signature that I’ve seen online. The handwriting looks quite shaky, like it was written by a much older person. Lewinsky’s signature is bolder and more flowing than this.
Did you not do a quick Google image search whilst in the store? I’m a hardcore charity shopper, who often comes across signed editions I’m not necessarily familiar with. I have to make a decision on the spot, but I rarely do so without at least taking a quick look online first, to see if what I’m considering is remotely similar to other examples out there.
My guess is that this book was a gift from someone who shared the first name as her. It has been known to happen.
