I don't understand why people ask for opinions, and then proceed to argue with those who provide opinions they apparently don't want to hear.

Mr. Zipper , If you read from the beginning ,you will easily see I wasn't arguing with anybody.I asked for a opinion and it took off from there with a life of its own. I welcome your opinion on these Muhammad Ali autographs . Thanks for your time, Don

No problem, Don. I misread the thread and thought Carlos was the OP since he as debating everyone else who offered an opinion. The risk of the threading format that jumps around plus reading on a tablet. :-)

Ali signatures are not my specialty, but as others have indicated, they appear a bit too drawn and deliberate for my taste. Note the ragged baseline in most of the exemplars provided versus the ruler straight baseline in these examples. Plus the fantasy inscriptions make me uneasy.

Mr. Zipper,  I think the ruler straight baseline you pointed out is a good observation.Forgers like John Olsen have made it tough.

Ali is very tough, Don. It's a pretty simple signature to begin with and the wildly inconsistent formations due to his illness make it even tougher.

If I was in the market, I would likely go for a vintage signature or one with a personalization. In my view, the contemporary smashed up signatures can not be authenticated with high degree of reliability. 

I'm glad I got one in the mail directly from Ali and I will have to be happy with that.

Zipper, I agree with you.  My Ali was obtained in person in Cape Cod in the late 60's, while he was in exile.  He still signed it "world boxing champ".

Mr Zipper, It is funny too ,that Ali was a obliging signer ,with the thanks to Sugar Ray Robinson ,who shunned then Cassius Clay, when he asked Robinson for his autograph.I wondered if Ali ever turned anybody down, I would be shocked if he did.I have met him a number of times in person and still in search of his autographed items.

Carlos, I will make this really easy for you.  These are fake.  F-A-K-E.  instead of trying to convince everyone on here otherwise, why don't you just buy them and be done with it?  We study autographs every day. We are not claiming to be experts on Ali.  But we can certainly tell when something is off, and these are definitely OFF.

Lol I didn't say I was 100% I'm just saying don't disregard it so quick
I had a post on here with 4 legit Ali's and everyone said they were fake but none were lol
