Ali is not my specialty so hopefully others will chime in. Although it appears to me to be a good one.

I looked into Ali a fair bit b4 I got mine but of course I am not a reliable source.

But...

Right away this doesn't look good for so many reasons. The M looks ok and then it falls apart in almost every letter and structure. Everything is just too big and Ali's signature and hand writing is very uniform and compact. This signature has too many variations in the slants and overall consctruction and the numbers don't look right either.

Of course I could be wrong, and it would take someone far more experienced than I to confirm this as Legit.

Get more eyes on this one b4 buying.

1979 was around the time his illness started to kick in and it showed in his signatures later on. So there is a possibility this one is good, but I wouldn't lay my money on the table just yet

This is good!100%

there you have it

I may as well delete my comment haha

no doubt authentic

100% authentic in my opinion

Looks ok for an Ali autograph.  His very unusual ALI with the M which usually always has a slight angle to the rest of the name.

Could be significant, Ali announced his retirement from Boxing in June 1979.

gacias everyone.  what kind of price is a good price for it;- its for a present for someone as dont know much about ali prices but I liked the fact this was a clear sig

There was a mention that the date he signed this was the near the same date Ali announced his retirement. That could add value for those who followed Ali closely. Myself, I would believe this signature would be worth from $250 to $400.

that price range sounds correct.
