Can someone here tell me how rare is this kind of Ali signature?

Its without Coa, but after some research im 90% sure its a real deal and i've read that he only occasionally signed with that staylish M and A (mostly in the early 70s)

Beckett quick opinion after just 1h response: LIKELY to pass..

The photo is signed in 1971 in Zurich after the fight Ali Vs Jurgen Blin (by the words of the previous owner and the photo is glue on the Zurich map of the city..)

Rare is an overused word. I just grabbed a 1971 Ali SD and it's the same. style.

Authenticity may be a different story. Look at the baseline.

To be honest i dont collect Ali. I was watching to purchase 1, found this and after the research (maybe im wrong) this kind of style is quite rare? What is the value aprox for this kind of Ali autograph?

Ill send it to BAS to get a Coa

There are folks here who I would listen to over BAS. Maybe they will chime in...

I found this on some Ali autograph site and it looks the same..

That style may be a bit scarce but none of those look much like yours in execution. How do you know those are authentic at that site?

On the Op SP why did he write just "pearl" - it a word found in his orbit but there is no context at all I can find here. Why add it?

What were his common incriptions in the 1971 period? That kind of research might help.

I read it as "Peace".

Indeed. Did he normally cross his sevens?

R&R has prices realized with photographs going back to 2008. 26 pages. I'd check and see if that style really does command a premium. It appears there are other style M's as well. It really pays off to know your subjects signing habits and all.

Perhaps it is indeed authentic - it appears it might well be and it shares several traits - but how would any of that be verifiable? Or the words of the original owner?
