We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

It won't let me order it as it will only ship in the US. I don't know why they do this.

Heres my Wilson signed album from his website. Still in plastic.

Very cool - did he sign in on the plastic?  or what is shrink wrapped with the signature?  Strange that he would sign in first and then shrink.   How much was it if you dont mind?

thanks

Mark

Looks like Looney Tunes still has them in stock. $20-$21 including the shipping.

Looney Tunes is sold out of the CD booklets. Ian has pictured an LP. Brianwilson.com still has some for sale for $100

Looney Tunes still has the cd with signed booket on sale on their site. It might be an error, but worth calling or emailing to find out.

Yeah, I already bought two from them. If you go through the process it says they are no longer available. They only had a set limited number and I just don't think they have taken it off their site yet. You're right however someone could try and call them to be certain.

Hi, not signed on plastic. Signed then wrapped. 100 bucks album and T shirt.

the Looney Tunes ones look like junk all smeared and in a gold marker. I asked them about it and they told me everyone was smudged/damaged. so seems he didn't care enough to let things dry.

Mine look decent not smeared. They are more his "rushed" signature but I expected that with 500 copies he signed. I can't complain because it was a good price and he surely sold a lot more CD' s than he would have otherwise I bet between selling albums on his website and Looney Tunes plus the in-store signings he did. Smart marketing, more artists should do it.

Yeah mine was same. Smudged and CD cover corners are bent up.

I tried contacting Looney Tunes to see if I could exchange mine but they never responded.  For the price, it's fine.. things happen.
