If the paper is like newspaper this is definitely one to keep out of the sun or even bright light.

Yes, that is pulp rich paper. I avoid this stuff.  I'm not saying it has to be lignin free cotton, but chemically extracted pulp newsprint is eventually self destructive. One should never pay photo paper prices for printed paper images.
