Hi everyone,
Today I got my first John Lennon autograph. I know the condition of the paper is bad, or even very bad, but it's John Lennon and I think such an autograph is better than not having an autograph at all. Anyway, it was obtained in person at an airport in the States in the summer of 1965. John also inscribed it "To Del & Myra". Does it look like Del in your opinion? Myra is a Hebrew name. The girl who got it was Jewish. I'm happy with it and I can finally say I have the autographs of all four members of the Beatles.

Having a Lennon is BETTER then not having a Lennon!!!

Totally agree Jim

Congrats mate, out of my price range but can't go wrong with an icon like him

it looks like "Gale & Myra"

Thanks Terrier, you solved the mystery :-)

Terrible.

It was touched and signed by a John Lennon. A moment in time. A real pity it was not cared for better by the original owners. But genuine all the same.

what is so terrible about an authentic John Lennon autograph?

Get it matted & framed with a photo from Lennon from 1965...and you've got a great piece! I like the fact that it shows it's age...it's 55 years old!!! Like Spaceman said....Lennon held this in his hands...he touched it...he signed it...it's a frozen moment in time! Make sure you post a photo when you get it framed!

He meant terrible condition. He is probably right.

Exactly!!

Congrats to Daniel - but at what point does something like this become uncollectable? No offense - a serious question.
