and he's swept me off my feet! And he's large and in charge! 23x35 to be exact. I must admit I'm quite taken by this Prince. As you can tell, I'm a bit excited, as most of us are when our new purchase arrives.

My new Prince is a very large signed poster from his first album in 1978, "Prince For You". The autograph and inscription read: "To Wanda Love You, Prince". And Prince added his symbol as well. Does the symbol constitute another autograph?

It's really quite stunning when you see it in person due to its rather large size with a huge picture of Prince. The autograph and inscription are large as well.

I'm somewhat shy to admit that it came from PressPass since there's been some negative discussion on here about them. And I myself have written about their seemingly cozy relationship with PSA/DNA. It does come with a PSA LOA. But like most of us, I don't just buy something because of the sticker. I thought it looked good too. And what's even better, Roger Epperson has looked at it, and he said, "It looks fine to me."

From what I've heard, these posters were only distributed in 1978 in the Minneapolis area. I don't know, however, if that's true.

Anyway, there are some pics below.

Congratulations, Prince is large and in charge.
It may not be the symbol underneath just a squiggly thing.
Thanks, Paul. Well, at least I know it's an authentic squiggly thing! Lol.

Lol...I was just gonna say I'll take that squiggle

I was surprised at what good condition the poster was in. It's really what I would describe as near mint. I think it's been folded up for most of the last 38 years. There are no pin holes or tape residue or anything like that. It makes me think that it's never been framed or displayed. Also the poster is on very high quality paper.

Very cool, congratulations!

Thanks, Joe!
Are you going to frame it?
Prince doesn't come cheap!
No doubt!
Yes, I'm going to. As for now, just a cheap frame. I'm first going to put it in a 24x36 toploader and then into a frame. I bought a cheap 24x36 frame for $20 from Walmart. The clear part of the frame is made of styrene plastic. But I'm afraid to put the plastic front of the frame directly on the poster for fear that it might eventually stick to the poster. So I think I will put the poster first in a toploader before I put it in the frame. Hopefully the toploader won't be too thick so that the edges won't fit back around the frame.
Some top loaders have pvc and they will damage the poster.
Thanks, I'll check to see if it has pvc.
