I recently bought this Ringo autograph on Ebay. Although it doesn't look like the classic or typical Ringo signature, I think it's authentic. What do you think? Appreciate your opinion. Thanks!

Daniel,

I’ve seen a number of these and I don’t think they’re real. Even though they often have very reputable COAs.

The loop of the R is unusually round at the top. The upright of the R curves a little towards the right, instead of straight up, sometimes with the little curve to the left. The small letters are too small.

You'll see a similar one in a discussion this morning.

Thank you Steve for your comment. I would appreciate to hear more opinions.

Daniel,

Compare yours to the two Ringo signed "Ringo Rama" CDs that Ballroom posted as replies on page 1 of this discussion. Compare all 3 autographs to the ones printed on the cover, too:

Steve, I have compared all of them. Yes, they look different. But! I have Frank's authentication for it. Could it be that Frank is mistaken for such a simple signature?

If every signature looked exactly the same....then we'd have a problem!!! Was Ringo holding the CD when he signed it? Was it on a flat surface when he signed it? Was it held at an angle when he signed it? Different circumstances mean different looking signatures..Yes?...No?

Exactly what I thought. I guess the answer for your question is yes.
