NOT FOR SALE!!!

Probably the crown jewel of my Lennon collection!

Not really autograph related but still interesting. These are a pair of John Lennon's Personally owned gold glasses. They were acquired in Los Angeles in 1973 by a man named Michael Bremer.

It might have been nice to have had some of these letters notarized to prove they were signed by the indicated people.

Also, There's a little more superfluous detail than I normally like to see, but maybe people like the storytelling.  ;)

I told you not to sell here, and this is a thinly veiled sales pitch—not just for the glasses but for your services too.

You were already suspended for trying to sell a likely forged Lennon, and we don't allow selling here anyway. Stop it now.

"Lennon" glasses with stories of how they came about are all over the place. John was severely nearsighted. In his early 30s he was -8.25 in his right eye and -7.50 in his left, so the odds of him giving anyone a spare pair of his glasses are slim to none.

Not for sale has been detailed at the top of the discussion. I also detailed it at the top of one of the other glasses posts I put up on my old account.

"NOT FOR SALE" is the ultimate sales pitch. There was a music collector who sold a TON of forgeries with the sales pitch "NOTHING FOR SALE."
