Hi all,
A bit of background as to why I've just joined the site:
Approximately 1 month ago I started the search for a unique item for my brother's 30th. Both huge Pink Floyd fans, I have become enthralled with the search for a signed guitar either by Dave Gilmour or Roger Waters. There are several very attractive looking art-sprayed electric guitars with 'the Wall' theme on them (have attached the item I'm keen on). As I have played for years myself, I understand that the guitars themselves are not top range instruments (no Fender Stratocasters or Telecasters) but mainly cheap 'Squiers' - which normally would retail brand new for a couple of hundred $.
That doesn't bother me as the total price is approx $2,400 and I think it's a reasonable price.
Anyway, I have done plenty of research.
The guitar is sold on the website: autographpros.com
The link is: http://www.autographpros.com/rogerwatersautographedsignedthewallgui...
The item has been certified by PSADNA and I have checked the certificate ID number on PSADNA's website to confirm that they DO believe it is an authentic signature.
So, where has all this fallen down?
Upon following the prompts and attempting to checkout, the website hits me with a brick wall, where the page comes up with a problem with the website's certificate (see other attachment of screen shot).
I therefore have not pursued any further as I know that due to this warning, the site's certificate has probably been fraudelently tampered.
Problem being - I also read through "Autograph Magazine" that Steve Cyrkin has written an article on 'how to buy Rock...Without Getting Rolled"
(here: http://autographmagazine.com/2009/02/how-to-buy-rock-autographs-saf...)
In response to another reader he mentions that autographpros.com is greatly respected along with PSADNA.
All of this puts me at a great loss.
I have contacted the website directly to express my concern. Upon e-mailing I have been asked to take a screen shot and send it through to "Michael Kasmar [autographguy2011@gmail.com]".....seems dodgey!
Any help or thoughts based on autographpros.com would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time to go over this.

Sam,
This usually is browser error depending on whether you are using a Mac or PC, IE, Google Chrome ect. This has absolutely nothing to do with sellers reputation.
Hi Sam, first of all thank you for showing interest in our items and secondly, I'm glad you found this site as well. I think you'll find both a welcome addition to your collecting pursuits. As both Steve and Roger have mentioned, this is an issue with an SSL Certificate. I recently paid to upgrade my hosting and during the port, they haven't finalized the SSL Certificate which is now causing that warning. In the mean time you have a few options for purchase, you can either go directly to paypal and make payment to mike@autographpros.com, I can send you a paypal payment request, you can call in your order to 860-872-9381 and pay by credit card, or you can wait a few days for us to resolve this issue. I'm guessing by Friday it'll be done. I'm terribly sorry you are encountering this issue but rest assured it's only temporary.

Hi all,
Well I simply cannot thank you all enough for your prompt and professional responses.
I have woken the next day in Australia to read all of the responses and it's fair to say I'm overwhelmed and relieved.
Thank you all for your advice and clarity on the issue - purchasing such items online can always bring with it some hesitation - this has certainly put me at ease and I cannot wait to see the look on my brother's face when he gets the gift.
I will be in touch today Michael.
Thanks again and happy hunting to all.
Cheers,
Sam
