I recently bought this Bob Dylan signed photo after some deliberation. However today, when it arrived someone on another forum told me it was fake. They also told me to come here as you guys were the best at authenticating autographs so please help me.

This was the story the seller gave me about how it was obtained: "hello im a limo driver service an i used to drive the journelist around when he spent times on isle of wight his name was david castell an at that point he saw bob dylan at the festival an after festival he went on set of hearts of fire where pic an sign where done as for me getting it as a gift as im in to bob dylan"

Also I checked out his ebay profile and this is the only signed item/autograph he has ever sold so I don't think he's a faker.

Wow, that's practically giving it away. If he's an eBay seller and is into Bob Dylan as he says, you'd think he'd know that it's worth a lot more than that. It doesn't make much sense to me, but congrats to you if it indeed is authentic.

He's not like a dealer or common seller of autographs so I don't think he was really clued up on the whole thing and just wanted to get rid of it along with a load of other stuff he was selling.

this is why i love ebay! sometimes you get sellers that are not tuned in to autographs and sell them at great prices! rare but it happens! thats also a tactic i use, checking if the seller has sold any autographs in the past. great catch!

I've seen lots of Dylan and that looks good to me. It just looks sloppy, which often times, is a good thing. I got my favorite album BLOOD ON THE TRACKS signed by Dylan, with a BEST WISHES. Cost me $350 in auction once.
