Joe if those are real that is absolutely crazy! Does anyone know if they are real?

Ok.. looks like my entire text didn't appear above. I looked up the certificate numbers for these PSA/DNA "Neil Armstrong" 3X5 index cards and they are listed as "genuine" at PSA/DNA. Furthermore, there is a run of them from #83721297 through #83721302 for a total of six! Umm... never saw a Neil that looked like this. PSA charges $250.00 just to certify a Neil Armstrong and these were offered at a "Buy it now" price of $39.00 and, they sold!! WTF??

Joe that was my point exactly. Just because they slabbed an item does not make it real. I am sure this was probably certed for one of their Teflon Don pals and whom was charged much less than $250.00. From the sheer numbers I am seeing on sellers sites on ebay it looks like it is good business these days for guys like presspasscollectibles and probstein etc etc etc

I just looked up Neil Armstrong on the PSA Autograph facts section (exemplars) and do not see anything that looks comparable to these. Looks like "if you ain't cheatin you ain't livin" at these places. Shameless.

Is it possibly a different Neil Armstrong?

Chad: Ok..I'll buy that (a different Neil Armstrong) but who ever heard of those guys and why would you want a PSA/DNA cert for anyone other than the first man on the moon ??  It's bizarre, but also disturbing. I just looked it up and there are 62 listings in the white pages for "George Washington" in NY. Do you think PSA/DNA would certify any or all of their signatures? I wouldn't doubt it.

If you paid them they would probably certify them. I don't know what is going on here.

I think this is the signature of the former NHL referee Neil Armstrong...

Good catch, Jan.

:-)

Just lucky to be honest. I´m actually thinking of buying a Neil Armstrong / Apollo 11 sig (one of the reasons for my For sale thread...) and when searching for him I have stumbled over this other Neil Armstrong...

"One small slapshot for man..."

Touche!! :-)

Without reading the description or seeing the category the item was listed in, it's hard to tell if them were misrepresenting the autographs.
