Next offering I have come across is this copy of Pink Floyd's boxed set "Shine On" again on eBay. It looks in very good condition but 1. its on eBay (Shutter) and 2. It comes with a story not a COA. I may not be the smartest person in the world however I am the owner of counterfeit autographed copy of a dark side of the moon. This also came with a story, not a COA. Humm seems kind of familiar to me. Its sad in this day and age a persons word means nothing. I remember a time when it did (Yea I am old) but the reality is a persons word means nothing anymore especially when the story gos like "I got it from a guy that swears he got them in person" so I know its real. Yea, I think I heard this story before. So the story and $4.00 will get you an espresso at StarBucks. When a person is asking $3,000.00 there is no reason Not to have a it authenticated by someone like Mr. Epperson its not that much money compared to the peace of mind it will give a buyer. Now that I have gone on and on what do you think? Scott

He will do it, but if there is a crowd he might do 1 or 2 and then he is done.

100% authentic. With out a doubt but the Roger is on an 8x10 and it is not apart of the book. 3k is too much for this though. I'd say 1k.

BTW, I know where these were signed. At the label offices in LA. I used to own a couple of these and one came with a letter from the label inviting 10 winners to the offices to meet Nick, Dave and Rick and get your book signed from the set with it was originally released. This, is the first one I have seen that got dedicated though, Tony must have requested that. I have another but I later got Roger to sign it. This fella just added a signed photo.

Thank you for your opinion on this. The seller did say Mr. Waters autograph was added later, however it is authentic. I was very surprised the seller accepted my offer and was willing to sell it. The big issue for me is the passage of time, Mr. Wright is gone, there will never be another complete autograph of the band given. So at this time in my life I am willing to say my Nick Name was Tony the person the book was dedicated to, because this is as close as I will ever get and I will cherish it.  Scott

haha nice purchase "Tony" I am jealous and understand where you are coming from. Congrats!

Also if you ever wished, you could try and get Roger to sign on the page with the other 3! ...Regardless a nice piece!

You saying that there were 10 "Golden Tickets" (reminds me of Willie Wanka and the Chocolate factory) This is where I have been for the last 30 years, collecting Pink Floyd records, I own three copies of "Shine On" two still sealed, 40 other Cd's and 432 records, picture disks, bootleg, BBC recordings, radio only recordings, the list go's on and on. Vinyl I know Autographs were something I stayed away from. Thanks for help and information. I have learned more in 2 weeks than I have in the past 30. Scott
