Hi we have this which we know is genuine because it was signed in front of my husband, we want to sell it so looking to have it authenticated to help get the best price. Does this site recommend a company for this purpose? I have found a few online but how do I know their coa’s are worth anything? Please advise a bona Fide company in the uk thanks so much

try garry king in the uk. he is mega honest and very nice person at autograficia
thank you I will investigate -have already side stepped rare and signed!!
www.autografica.co.uk or you could ring him. he is very nice. He charges £30 for a coa
In my opinion this does not need to a COA to sell. It is a great example and I wouldn’t spend a dime to authenticate it. Where are you looking to sell it?
I did look up Nicks signature images and it does look good doesn’t it. eBay I expect, it’s one of those things, hubby had for years but we don’t display it, he wants to get a new guitar custom shop fender so hence why we want to sell but rather keep it then sell it for pennies.
If I or most knowledgeable collectors were to buy it, a COA would not be necessary, almost worthless. It has enough of Nick’s writing even for the novice collector to understand its authenticity.
Thanks so much for your advice I really wouldn’t know. I will stick on eBay at least I can set a reserve. Brilliant thank you!
Oh my that's a great piece. Super how he did the "O" in Floyd to include the DW logo. Nicest NM piece I have seen.
When was this signed?
I agree w/ Seamus that it's best to sell it without a COA.
Good luck
It was either 1999 or 2000 the guitar pick is nothing to do with it it’s just blue tacked on - thrown from nickleback at a concert into crowd :) thanks guys it’s really cool piece isn’t it! No idea about the logo he is obviously just good at that sort of thing! It was done at a track race event that he happened to be at
:)
Just need a pink floyd fan called Steve with a bit of spare cash! Anyone have a clue what reserve price I should go with? Things are only worth what people are prepared to pay at end of day - don’t want to be too optimistic but also not selling for £50!
Well Seamus will know re signature and its presentation, age, and condition with regard to value. In terms of Fender it may be more "Classic Series" or even upper-end "Squire" than "Custom Shop".
