Actually found someone who was willing to place an order for me at Amazon.nl. No news on if they fulfill or not though, of course.

In the meantime I found a Swiss seller who says he would sell one (in hand) for 425 CHF (~ 481 USD). Guess this is already a little overpriced, what do you think? You think the chances that Amazon.nl will deliver are slim to none, or is there hope?

Honestly I think your chances are slim. It says it's on backorder. On several occasions I've had Amazon.nl cancel backorders after weeks/ months without explanation. Just normal household stuff, not even rare/ collectible items. But it doesn't hurt to keep the order until they cancel. They usually don't take your money until it's ready to be delivered.
