Armstrong opinion

hi guys i bought the attached from a collector in bristol around 15 years ago who obtained it through the mail.   opinions please, the N  looks a little off to me but sometimes signatures can foul up depending on circumstances

that is one strange signature. it looks like the second vertical line of the N was signed AFTER the ending stroke of his last name.  and the lines in his last name look jerky.  but yes, Steve Z will be able to tell you for certain.

Dosent look like autopen, maybe secretarial?

It is not consistent with secretarial styles. In my opinion it is a garden variety fake.

In my opinion, this is not authentic. Significant malformation and slowly done.

hmmm not a great day!  thanks Steve, always thought it was ok but with a little off signature.  i might get rid of it , it is at least on an original NASA picture.  might get a few pound!

Thankyou Steve much appreciated,   apart from the one i scanned i had another two in my collection, after 40 years man and boy. the first spacesuit photo i sold on, having been offered a good price  and the buyer checked out authenticity which came through with flying colours.  the one i am left with is this "in person " from a late friend in San Juan Capistrano   if i could have opinions ? i was disappointed  yesterday  so cant bear to look!

The white space suit portrait is authentic in my opinion. A beauty.
