OT: Would You Prefer a Vintage Snow Globe w Original 1939 Water or Clear New?

Which would you prefer in your collection of original 1939 New York World's Fair Official Fairground Souvenirs all purchased from Official Souvenir Stands? The reason for asking is inside the globe is a porcelain Trylon and Perisphere which is as white as new snow - when the water is clear. Originally the "snow" was orange and blue (NY State colors - would you try to replicate that? Mine are all brown). Right now the water is clear - if you don't shake it, and is about 1/3 evaporated over 80 years. It has not changed in the 20 years I have owned it - perhaps a little.

Never mind. I just figured out why this hasn't been opened... ;) It don't!

Aha! I bet I can clean some of this anyway with exposure to sunlight!

I don’t much about something like this; however, I like the idea of original 1939 water...perhaps not to drink...but for the item itself, yes.
