I assume this is not real. Everyone agree?

Hi Michelle and Beatleworld,

It was a UK auction house but a very provincial one. I was buying to keep as I am a collector rather than a dealer. To me the value was at least as much in the non-autographed material.

The competition prize  was a very bulky-looking projector valued at £250 - a king's ransom in today's money. It came along with a copy of "The Beatles Come To Town". The winner was paid an extra pound to respect the copyright! One letter mentions the fact that the Beatles are currently in the US and that it is not totally certain that they will be able to make it for the prize-giving. There were three winners (all female) - my lady who was a married 21 year old, an 18 year old and a 15 year old - they all look much older in the photos.

My postage was probably so much higher because of the insurance - £50. I had one crazy shipping quote of over £150 before insurance. That puts even Christie's postal charges to shame.

I live in England & Bonhams are the worst and so snobby as well .  I also am a collector rather than a dealer and nice to know its not going to a good home along with ton chien!!!   I know I saw it somewhere as well. Nice buy anyway.

I hope you meant it is going to a good home rather than not - I won't be putting my paws all over the things.

The thought never occurred  to me; - you look very photogenic and most angelic!!!
