This does look authentic to me.

I agree. Authentic

thumbs way down on this one mate!! D

Darren is probably right.  the more I look at it.  the aul is off.

Hmm...the "aul" looks okay to me. What don't you like about it, Darren?

looking closely at it, the a is uncharacteristically angled, the u is very small and narrow, and the l looks abnormally wide.  at first glance I thought it was good, but it seems these guys are familiar with this forgery style, which I happen to think will fool a lot of people.  including me.

It's certainly possible, although I've seen each of those characteristics in authentic Paul signatures. If that's the case, I'd be interested to see more examples of this style.

I agree with Darren. I think this is a forgery made in England.

Do you have any other examples that are from the same source?

Thanks for messages nah friend has it for sale and has offered to me said it was an in-person sig but obviously no evidence of it so thought I'd check it out before any decisions think its safe to say ill leave it,
Thanks for help guys much appreciated :)

Actually, all of it Ballroom. With the exception of the "L" in Paul, there isn't anything that really resembles his signature. Granted, the guy has 1,000 different variations of his signature, but at least one or two....and it could be one or two of 200 different things always show up in his signature. As flowery as this sounds, with McCartney it is  the "essence" of his signature, more than anything else that you have to be able to spot. That is why the Beatles experts get paid what they get paid. McCartney literally jumps around from style to style with each signature. It would be a maddening process to try and document every single variation because to be honest the are endless and they continue to grow every time he signs his name. Showing one McCartney example isn't going to do anyone any good, but just take a look at a side by side. One jumps out you immediately and the other is very flat. Cheers..D

What do you think of this one?
