I prefer the blue ink signature to the felt tip example.

I agree. Authentic and attractive are not always synonymous. The blue appears ballpoint or perhaps other, and is so much fuller.

the Paul looks fine in the second example but the mcc looks way off.  perhaps Paul signed just his first name, and some tried to add his last name to increase value?

I see the similarities.  but your McC has a lot more positives than the one in the discussion, in my opinion.  It just confirms that Paul has a ridiculous number of styles.
