I wouldn't buy any of them.

I dont like any of them.  they were all penned by the same person, and I dont think it was sir paul

first 2 maybe different hand from 3,4 and 5

i would always ask a beatles expert before i dabbled in a macca graph

Here is one that looks nearly identical to the ones you posted Steve (which I don't believe are authentic).  This was sent by my friend here in Houston that had Denny Laine on it already to Adrian in London to get McCartney on it.  This is the signature he sent him back.  I think we are starting to see a pattern with Adrian.  Look at the "M" it's the same one and when he underlines it, the way the tail goes downward and back to the right is the same on every one of these.  That is not a trait of Paul's signature.

You're right, Roger. Thanks. The 5 I uploaded were from Dominic Manning's site, www.Behindthescenes.org.uk ... probably supplied by Adrian Longden, since Manning is a distributor for him.

Thanks Roger!  I think you just saved me a bundle.  I asked for the group's opinion on this McCartney that Autografica is trying to pedal and Steve said that it looked ok.  But since you posted these images I see that the Paul is the same in the first 2.  I heard that he bought bundles of material from Adrian and stands by him as a collector.  Scary stuff.

Edward
I know the collector who obtained this in London and it was not Adrian
I believe it was signed at the royal college of art earlier this year
If I'm not mistaken this is fully genuine
This is how Macca signs at events especially in London
Hope this helps
Gary

Thanks, Gary. I believe the white pickguard is genuine, too. Being that it's just "Paul" it's hard to definitively authenticate, but it doesn't look like the Adrian Longden examples to me, either.

Hi Steve
Yes this was obtained by 2 collectors in London
It was a art event and a few artists were there
Tracy Emin and David Hockney
McCartney turned up and signed but this is what he signs. Just Paul

He said to me once ' if I'm working then you get a better signature ''

I got him 2010 at a radio interview and I got great signatures
But when he signed for me at the Martin Scorcese film premier for George Harrison he signed
awfully

I got him recently and I got a better signature this was 2012 Lomdon
Cheers
Gary

It's hit and miss I'm afraid

Here is another "tail" tell that I discovered thanks to this post. Someone paid $500 for this garbage. Garry King should distance himself from this collector before it ruins his business.  Also, a signed Beatles LP for $500?! What was Autografica thinking?  What did they buy it for? $250?

"If it's too good to be true..."

Garry told me (and I believe Roger, too) that he was at an event where a friend of his had a few McCartneys signed for him (just Paul as I recall), but he wasn't with him to witness it.

Steve
