Paul McCartney/John Lennon Autograph

Hi all,

Long time forum lurker and have just joined and would realy appreciate your expert thoughts on the below eBay item currently for sale in the UK. I fully appreciate that it comes with LOA's from Tracks UK and Frank Caiazzo but would still like to hear what you think on the signatures if possible. Thanks very much.

Interesting that Tracks letter is from March 28, 2018, and Frank's letter is from April 6, 2018. Within one week both Tracks and Frank held this item? (Tracks are in the UK and Frank is in the US).

I'm ignorant of Frank's full working methods but is it possible he also authenticates via a high res scan of a signed Beatles item sent to him? I'm not saying he does but just wondered if that is how his LOA was issued so quickly after Tracks?

It's a very good question. I thought about it myself a few times in the past. I don't have a clear answer.

+1. Authentic, but expensive. It was previously offered by RR Auction, but apparently didn’t make the reserve.

Hi Alan, good to know, thanks. Just out of interest how did Frank authenticate this so closely to Tracks? Was he actuslly sent the item or a scanned copy? Just curious.

I have no idea regarding  the loa it also has one from Perry cox as well dated  18thjune 2018 +a covering  letter detailing how the autographs were obtained from the person who obtained them in1967
