Hi folks, can anyone give me their opinion on whether this is a genuine Paul McCartney autograph, apparently signed on his Wings world tour. Thank you!

Don't buy based on my opinion alone, but I think it's genuine.

Thanks Steve, I'm a novice so I appreciate your opinion!

Welcome to the forum. I used to have a wings album signed by Paul, Linda and denny. It looked somewhat like that the paul sig.
But I'm not very good with them.

Hi Paul, thank you for your advice. I found some pics of some 'genuine' signings around that time and to my uninformed eye they do have similar characteristics!? ???

Yes they do. Other members will give their opinions who are much better than myself.
Bottom 2 look authentic.
Does the item your looking at have any coas with it?

No Paul, it's just a guy that says him and his friend managed to meet him on his tour. I got Paul's auto when I was a kid in the UK and gave it to a friend, so I'm looking for another one to replace my stupid loss!

The top black and white one is the one I'm being offered and the two colored ones below are authentic for this time period. What do you think members? Appreciate your help!

The one in your original post could be real, but it doesn't look good to me. The P and a seem way off. The other one, on the Wings at the Speed of Sound album cover, is definitely real, though.

Thanks Edward..

very strange signature.  I would not buy it.  Even on the slight chance that it is authentic, it is so non-characteristic (minuses outweigh positives) that it would likely always be questioned.

Compare the last name to the second one Steve Petts posted.
