I agree it's carefully done, quite likely a sitdown autograph if it's real. And if I was a TPA, I might be uncomfortable certifying it. I don't see any odd stops and starts or hesitations, though. Do you, fab432?
Even for a sit down autograph in an unhurried scenario it misses the mark for me. It just has that copied from look. As Steve points out no stops after the start which is a bit odd. The price was a bit of a flag as well.

it also appears to be "squished", which I thought he would normally do if there were a space issue.  his autographs are all over place so there is always a chance, but I really do not like it at all.

It looks as though it is indeed a good forgery. Here's another one that may be from the same forger:

Most of the mccartney collectors including myself wouldn't buy this, perhaps the dealers would.
I remember another thread where they were talking about the start of the m being higher on authentic Mc's.

Many thanks once again to all of you for helping me out on this. I thought it looked a bit odd but wanted the definitive opinion. Looks like it was sold off Ebay anyway.
